New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Harshal Patel took to Instagram on Sunday, April 17 to post an emotional post for his late sister Archita Patel. In his heartfelt post, Harshal said he will continue to do everything that made her sister proud of him. The cricketer had left the RCB bio bubble in haste after he got to know about the death of his sister as he rushed back to his home to be with his family in tough times.

In his letter, Harshal revealed that his sister had asked him to focus on his game. "Those words was the only reason I could come back and take the field last night. That’s all I could do now to remember and honour you. I will continue to do everything that made you proud of me," Harshal said via his instagram post.

Patel further wrote that he would do whatever he can to make her sister proud. "...will continue to do everything that made you proud of me. I will miss you every moment of my life, in good times and bad. I love you so much. Rest in peace," he concluded his message.

Harshal Patel missed just one game for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) which was against Chennai Super Kings. RCB lost the match against CSK by 23 runs, owing to superb batting from Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa.

Harshal returned to play for Bangalore in their next match against Delhi, which RCB won. He gave away 48 runs in his 4 overs in this match and did not get a single breakthrough.
