India's legendary cricketer and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after suffering a heart attack on Saturday. Ganguly's health suddenly worsened on Saturday morning, after which prayers were being offered to him from fans and his present and former colleagues all over the world. From Indian captain Virat Kohli to BCCI secretary Jay Shah, everyone wished for Ganguly's better health.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted an important update regarding Ganguly's health. He wrote: I wish and pray for the speedy recovery of Sourav Ganguly. I’ve spoken to his family. Dada is stable and is responding well to the treatment.





At the same time, India captain Virat Kohli tweeted and wrote, 'Praying for you speedy recovery. Get well soon'.





The ICC also tweeted wishing the BCCI President a quick recovery.





Virender Sehwag, the former Indian opener who played with Sourav Ganguly, tweeted, "Dada , jaldi se theek hone ka. Praying for your quick and speedy recovery."





West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted by wishing for Sourav Ganguly's health.





Shikhar Dhawan, also known as Gabbar of the Indian team, prayed for the recovery of Sourav Ganguly.








Ganguly complained of chest pain following a workout session on Friday evening and family members took him to the hospital this afternoon when the problem recurred.


Speaking to ANI, sources close to the former India skipper said that Ganguly complained of pain in the chest and might need angioplasty. “Dada (Sourav) complained of chest pain and was rushed to the hospital. He might need to undergo angioplasty. He is out of danger,” the source said.
