Preethi Pal Wins Bronze Medal: Indian Para athlete Preethi Pal made India's Day 4 at Paris Paralympics 2024 memorable, as she has now won a Bronze medal in the Women's 200m - T35 Final. With that, Preethi Pal has won her second medal at the ongoing Games (with her winning a Bronze medal in the Women's 100m - T35 Final as well).

With the win, India's medal tally at Paralympic Games 2024 now rises to 6, and the win marks India's second medal from Para Athletics (both came via Preethi Pal), as rest of the four medals came in the Para Shooting event.


A series of heartwarming messages followed in for the Bronze medalist, as he created history by winning two individual medals in a single Paralympic Games.

Women's 200m - T35 Final | As It Happened


The Final featured 7 athletes and even though it was expected to be tightly-knitted final, the Chinese duo of Xia Zhou and Qianqian Guo proved to be too good for everyone else, as they grabbed the gold and silver medals in the event. India's Preethi Pal did great in her attempt for Gold, but had to settle for a Bronze.
