Arshad Nadeem Wins Pakistan's First Olympic Gold Medal Since 1984


After a 40-year wait, Pakistan finally secured Olympic gold as Arshad Nadeem scripted history with one of the most dominant and decisive performances in the Men's Javelin Throw final seen in recent Olympic history.


Arshad Nadeem, first-ever athlete with two 90m+ throws in the Men's Javelin Throw final, already had a silver medalist at the World Championships. He added Olympic gold to his achievements by winning the Men's Javelin Throw final at 2024 Paris Olympics.


After his gold medal win in the Games 2024, Nadeem said,"First of all, I thank Allah Almighty for this huge success.
