Paris Olympics 2024, India Schedule For Day 14: India will remain in medal contention yet again on Day 14 (August 9) after a medal day which saw the Indian hockey team clinch a bronze medal after beating Spain in the bronze medal contest and Neeraj Chopra set to defend his Javelin Throw later in the night.
While India received a massive setback with Vinesh Phogat losing an assured medal because of her disqualification for being overweight by 100 grams, Aman Sehrawat has found a way to be in medal contention. While he could have assured the country of a medal, he will now play for bronze medal in the Men's 57 kg freestyle wrestling event. However, it will be a case of once bitten, twice shy for the Indian contingent who will be careful not to celebate too early and pray that Sehrawat does well to maintain his weight before he takes the mat for the bronze medal and makes the country proud.
