The 26-year-old's top priorities for next year include defending his World Championship title in Tokyo and crossing the coveted 90-meter mark in javelin.

In an exclusive conversation with Lucknow Times, Neeraj Chopra shared what career path he would have chosen if he hadn't become an athlete.
While speaking with Lucknow Times, Neeraj revealed: "I feel, if I weren't an athlete, I would have been a good photographer. I like photography and even own a professional camera with expensive lenses. I haven’t taken a professional course in photography yet. It is a hobby that I am very passionate about."
Discussing his favorite cuisine, the star javelin thrower shared that nothing compares to the taste of home-cooked meals.
"Muje sirf ghar ka ki khana pasand ha ( I just love the food prepared at my home) and I miss my dal-chawal which is my favourite. Namkeen chawal makhan dalke bhi bahut pasand hai (pulao with a lot of butter is something I enjoy)," he said.
Neeraj also revealed names of his favorite actress and movie: "When I was kid I liked Emma Wason in the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. It is one of my favourite movies."
