Hardik Singh, Indian Hockey Team star, who was also the part of India’s bronze-winning team at the Paris Olympics 2024 pointed out the poor quality of the Olympics medal which has lost its sheen within just two months of Olympics 2024 conclusion. The Indian hockey team brought home one of India’s six medals at the Paris Olympics, making it the second consecutive podium finish at the Olympics after also having won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.


During a podcast Oversharing With The Jhumroo, the Indian midfielder displayed the medal, revealing signs of wear and tear just months after the event in Paris.

"The medal had iron from the Eiffel Tower, we were told, I hope it's true. They had one job of making a good quality medal which is not the case. No problem. Still, I would say this is my biggest achievement," Hardik Singh said.

Hardik Reveals His 'Incomplete' Olympics Tattoo


The Indian hockey team star also showcased an unfinished tattoo of the Olympic rings that he has on his right arm, in which one of the rings is not a complete circle. Upon being asked the reason behind it, Hardik said that he intends to complete the tattoo after winning the gold medal for the country.


“Bronze 2020 2024” says the tattoo on his arm.


“I have also made tattoo of the Olympic rings. I have kept it incomplete. My wish is when I win the gold medal next time, I will complete it,” he said.
