Aman Sehrawat is being showered with recognition and applaud since August 9, the date on which he became India's seventh Olympic medallist in wrestling to etch history. The 21-year-old was the youngest in the Indian wrestling contingent that competed in the Paris Olympics 2024. However, he did not let that come in his way and just when it looked like Indian wrestlers might return empty handed from an Olympic for the first time since 2008 post the disappointment of Vinesh Phogat, Aman rose to the occasion to clinch India a bronze.
As it turned out, Aman's medal was the last addition to the country's medal tally which ended with 5 bronze and a silver, securing them a 71st rank in the list on the medals tally. Soon after Aman's bronze medal-winning performance, the grappler who ensured a podium finish for India in the Men's 57 kg Freestyle wrestling, has been receiving a lot of appreciation. And now there is another good news that has come his way.
