A Mexican bullfighter is left fighting for his life after he was gored in the neck during a show over the weekend in the central state of Tlaxcala. The same has been confirmed as per a report carried by news agency Agence France-Presse which cites medics. Jose Alberto Ortega In 'Very Serious' Condition

While the bullfighter Jose Alberto Ortega was rushed to medical aid and underwent a surgery, he continues to be in very serious condition. Despite protests from Mexico animal rights activists, the sport is continuing as of now but faced a likely fan at least in the capital Mexico city.

"Torture is not art, it is not culture," some of those who protested against bullfighting shouted near the Plaza Mexico bullring as per a Reuters report. "Yes to bulls, no to bullfighting," said another one of their slogans.
