New Delhi: The ongoing Junior World Championships in Peru are bringing out very good news for India. India's star player Manu Bhaker has clinched the Junior World Championship shooting title. Manu Bhaker, champion of the Youth Olympics, has won a gold medal in the women's 10 metre air pistol event with 241.3 points. 


The silver medal for the Junior World Championship shooting has also come to India. India's Esha Singh finished second with 240 points and managed to clinch the silver medal. 


This is India's first gold medal at the ongoing Shooting Junior World Championships being held in Lima, the capital of Peru. Earlier, Rudransh Patil had won a silver medal in the 10m air rifle and Ramita had won bronze medals in the women's air rifle event. 


has won 1 gold medal, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the Junior World Championships so far. With this brilliant performance, India remains at the first position in the Junior World Championships.
