Carlos Alcaraz handed a straight-sets defeat to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon 2024 Men's Singles Final on Sunday (July 24) to emerge as the champion. It was a rematch of the 2023 Wimbledon final but while on that occasion, Alcaraz had to come back from behind and work hard to earn that championship in a five-setter finale, in 2024 it seemed like a coming of age for the youngster.

Alcaraz breezed past Djokovic in the first two sets and even though the Serbian did put on a fight in the third set, eventually it was the Spaniard who came out on top, winning the tie-breaker 7-4. With the win, Alcaraz set up a flurry of records with a few listed underneath.
