IND vs ZIM 5th T20I Highlights: India beat Zimbabwe by in the fifth and final T20I of the series by 42 runs at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Sunday (July 14). While Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss for the first time in the series and invited India to bat first and even reduced them to 3 wickets down inside the powerplay, a brilliant half-century from Sanju Samson powered the Men in Blue to a win.


Samson top-scored with Team India with 58 off 45 balls, an innings that he played with the help of four sixes and a boundary. Credit should also be given to Shivam Dube whose cameo provided the visitors with a bit of a momentum towards the backend of the innings as he scored 26 off 12.

Mukesh Kumar Pick Of The Bowlers For Team India


After India's batting efforts, there was still job to be done by the bowlers who stepped up to the occasion yet again with Mukesh Kumar emerging as the pick of the bowlers, returning with 4 wickets for 22 runs to register his career-best figures. Dube, after making an impact with the bat, also chipped in with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 25 runs off his 4 overs.

Tushar Deshpande, Washington Sundar and Abhishek Sharma were the other wicket-takers for Team India who managed to bowl out Zimbabwe for 125. Dion Myer was the home team's best batter, making 34 off 32 but that did not help the team get close to India's target.
