Sneh Rana-led Gujarat Giants, after losing their first two games in WPL 2023, won their first match in the tournament by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore, attaining their first win from three games.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, had a great start in the T20 tournament as they won their first two games but Mumbai Indians defeated them by 8 wickets in their previous contest. Tonight's clash is very important for GujaratGiants, placed fourth in the standings.
Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals Toss Update: Gujarat Giants have won the toss and they opt to bat first against Delhi.
"We would like to bat first on a fresh wicket. We have two changes, Laura and Georgia are in. It's amazing for us that Laura has joined us, we are excited. It's just the team combination for the particular day. Everything is settled, and everyone is in a good shape," Gujarat skipper Sneh Rana said after winning the toss.
"The wicket looks pretty similar, hopefully it plays well. We are going in with the smart option, Laura Harris comes in. It's hard to get the combination right," Delhi skipper Meg Lanning said.
