The first-ever Women's Premier League (WPL) is already turning out to be quite an occasion. The tournament has witnessed some great performances from top women cricketers in world cricket which has set the stage on fire. Meanwhile, it has also given a stage to domestic talents like Saika Ishaque whose performances at this stage are getting by the world.
In yet another major update coming from the trailblazer Women's T20 competition in India, the organisers have announced free entry to all for the WPL match between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore on International Women's Day. This is the second major announcement made after it was already conveyed that women and girls will get free entry into the stadiums for all the matches of the cricketing extravaganza.
The announcement was made on the official handle of the Women's Premier League.

It has been three great days of cricket at the WPL so far. Mumbai Indians dominated the tournament opener against Gujarat Giants on March 04 and then also went on to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday (March 6) to make it two out of two wins. However, it hasn't been that great a start to for either Gujarat or Bangalore who other than the abovementioned matches also succumbed to a defeat against UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals respectively.
Gujarat with a net run rate of -3.765, largely due to their 143-run loss to Mumbai are currently at the bottom of the points table which is being led by Mumbai Indians.
Delhi Capitals Women and UP Warriorz will now be up against each other in WPL later on Tuesday (March 07). It will be the second game for both these sides after a win in their first.
