Virat Kohli is considered to be the epitome of fitness in the cricketing circles and the Indian skipper is widely regarded as the catalyst for raising the fielding standards of the Indian team to a new level. Lockdown or no lockdown, the Indian skipper has been relentless in his pursuit to keep himself in top shape amid the persistent threat of the Covid-19 pandemic which brought all cricketing activities to a complete half.

With the positive news of the IPL 2020 eventually getting stages in the UAE from September 19, cricketers are stepping up their paces to train hard and be in top shape to compete in the thirteenth edition of the league and Virat Kohli cant certainly be left out from any race where fitness is involved.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain took to social media and posted yet another post-workout video in which he can be seen running on a treadmill flaunting his chiselled abs.

A few days back the RCB skipper had shared a few throwback pics with his teammates, and captioned the post with emojis of a clock and
hourglass, indicating that he was doing a countdown of sorts for the upcoming IPL.

Royal Challengers Bangalore's batting mainstay will be leading RCB in yet another season and would look for a turnaround in the fortunes of his team, which has finished the last three seasons at the bottom of the table. RCB had a dismal campaign last season when they finished last with just 11 points from 14 games.

One of the most high profile and followed teams in the IPL, RCB are yet to win the IPL title despite making it to three finals since the inception of the league in 2008.

RCB would be keeping their fingers crossed over the availability of their South African stalwarts AB de Villiers and Morris, who could well miss out playing in the initial stages of the tournament as South Africa has imposed trave restrictions and is in lockdown till September.
