Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni surprised everyone on Thursday with his decision to step down from CSK captaincy. Now, the Chennai team will be led by Ravindra Jadeja. However, Dhoni will continue to play in the IPL for the time being. After Dhoni stepped down as the captain, IPL's official Twitter account shared a video of Dhoni's excellent IPL moments on its official Twitter account and remembered his brilliant captaincy. IPL's official Twitter account shared the video and wrote, "The Man, Legacy, MS Dhoni." This video of about 2 minutes 35 seconds shows Chennai's journey toward becoming the IPL champion four times. Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Viswanathan says that the decision was not taken suddenly by Dhoni. He had been planning on this for some time now. He told a sports website, "Dhoni gave his decision in the team meeting held after the practice session. He had been thinking about this long ago. According to Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja is ready to take over the captaincy and is also in his best form to shoulder this responsibility. Dhoni always goes according to the plans. He could have captained for another year if he wanted to, but he felt it would be right for a future captain to lead from this season."
