Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unveiled their new jersey, named "Fiery Heat", ahead of the much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The vibrant design, blending their signature orange tones with bold black patterns, promises to make a bold statement on the cricket pitch. SRH's new look draws inspiration from the hugely successful Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) jersey, captained by Aiden Markram, which has managed to clinch victory in the SA20 League for consecutive years.
Taking to social media on Thursday (March 7), SRH revealed their striking new jersey for IPL 2024. Staying true to their iconic orange colour palette, the franchise infused the "Fiery Heat" jersey with captivating black patterns. Hyderabad would now look for a change in fortunes and turn it around in IPL 2024, much like how things figured out for the Sunrisers in SA20.
The jersey launch post featured star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar modelling the new attire. SRH shared their excitement on social media, captioning the post, "Ready to unleash the fiery heat of Hyderabad. Our new blazing armour for #IPL2024, #PlayWithFire." The announcement has already ignited anticipation among the team's loyal fan base, a section of which would understandbly be eager to see their favourite players compete after wearing the brand new jersey.
Pat Cummins Named Captain Of SRH Ahead Of IPL 2024
In a strategic move signalling a shift in leadership, SRH recently declared Australian captain Pat Cummins as the helm for the upcoming season. Cummins, acquired for a record INR 20.50 crore at the auction, will take charge from former skipper Aiden Markram.
