Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 23 runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) face-off at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. While Delhi batted first and restricted Bangalore down to 174/6 which looked chasable at this venue, the visiting team got off to a nightmarish start when they lost opener Prithvi Shaw in the very first over.

Having not won a match so far this season, they just couldn't recover from that wicket and were 4 down inside the powerplay. Even though Manish Pandey scored a half-century for Delhi with contributions also coming in from Axar Patel and Anrich Nortje, DC never looked like they would come close to chase down that score. Eventually, it was another defeat for the David Warner-led side.

However, one particular instance from the match that has caught the attention of the netizens when Kohli was passing a look to DC's Director of Cricket, ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly after completing a catch. Some users described it as a "Death Stare."

Here is the video:

Notably, Ganguly was the BCCI President when Virat Kohli was removed as the captain of the ODI side. Kohli had stepped down as the captain of the T20I side but wanted to continue leading the 50 over and Test teams. However, Rohit Sharma was announced Team India's new white-ball captain moving forward. Later, Kohli contradicted Ganguly's claim that he was asked not to leave T20I captaincy as the management was looking at just one captain in limited-overs cricket.

Netizens believe that all is still not well between the two and Kohli's animated reaction after reaching his half-century and the stare from him have added more fuel to this fire. The two apparently also did not shake hands after the RCB-DC game got over.
