Yashasvi Jaiswal may not be in the best of form in IPL 2024. The young left-handed opener hasn't really set the tournament off to fire with his batting display. However, there was still a dream come true for batter when he finally got to meet Shah Rukh Khan. His wish was fulfilled after RR's win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday (April 16).

The youngster's excitement was palpable when he requested KKR players to help him meet Shah Rukh. Notably, the Bollywood superstar happens to be the co-owner of the KKR franchise and was present at the venue to cheer for his team. Even though KKR lost to RR in a last-ball thriller by 2 wickets, Shah Rukh met Jaiswal and gave him a hug. The video of Jaiswal fanboying over 'King Khan' was shared by the franchise on their official Instagram handle.

RR Sit Atop IPL 2024 Points Table

RR are currently sitting at the top of the IPL 2024 points table with 12 points from 7 matches. The Men in Pink have registered 6 wins from their 7 games. As far as Jaiswal is concerned, he has only managed 121 runs in 7 innings. However, the Sanju Samson-led side are likely to continue to stick with him at the top of the order with him expected to come good at some stage of the competiton especially with the inaugural champions haveing more or less set a foot for themselves in the IPL 2024 final.



Riyan Parag with 318 runs in 7 innings is currentlt the highest run-getter for RR and their most consistent performer. Sanju Samson and Buttler have been in fine form as well, having accumulated 276 and 250 runs respectively.
