What a game! It went down to the wire. Glenn Phillips' 7-ball 25 gave SRH hope but for a brief moment it seemed like RR had sealed the game before the umpire signalled a no-ball and Abdul Samad cleared the fence for a last-ball six. Samad finishes unbeaten on 17 off 7. SRH keep themselves alive and makes IPL 2023 points table very interesting.
Klaasen and Tripathi depart. Chahal dismissed the former before coming back to dismiss the latter in his next. SRH- 171/4 in 17.2 Overs.
With the required run out mounting, Abhishek Sharma had to go for the big shots but he found the fielder in the deep as he got out off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin. SRH- 116/2 in 12.4 overs.
At the halfway stage, SRH- 87/1. They need 128 runs from 60 balls.
Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek Sharma out in the middle for the Orange Army.
It was a good start by SRH before Chahal got rid of Impact Sub Anmolpreet Singh who scored 33 off 25. SRH- 51/1 in 5.5 overs.
END OF INNINGS. RR would be happy with this effort as they finish at 214/2 in 20 overs. Buttler's 95 off 59 and Samson's unbeaten 66 off 38 really the highlight of this innings. Stern test for SRH batters in the second half.
T Natarajan bringing in the final over for SRH.
Buttler falls for 95 in the 19th over. A superb yorker from Bhuvi gets him out LBW. RR- 192/2 in 18.3 overs.
5 overs to go then and 9 wickets in hand. This is exactly Samson would have had in mind when he chose to bat first. RR-154/1 in 15 overs. Jos Buttler- 71 off 46 balls, Sanju Samson- 40 off 26 balls.
Despite the wicket, RR batters cotinuting with the same attacking approach. 100 comes up for RR in the 10th over. The Men in Pink are at 107/1 at the halfway stage. Jos Buttler- 37* off 26 balls, Sanju Samson- 28* off 16 deliveries.
WICKET! Much needed that for SRH as Jaiswal falls for 35 off 18. RR- 54/1 after 5 overs. Jansen gets the wicket with a slower off cutter that got a bit more bounce that expected from the southpaw. Sanju Samson joins Buttler in the middle.

Background
Rajasthan Royals will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday (May 7). As things stand, the Sanju Samson-led side find themselves at the fourth place with 10 points from 10 matches with a net run rate of +0.448. On the other hand, the Orange Army are languishing at the bottom of the table with 6 points after 9 matches. While SRH would look to stay alive with a win in this match, RR wouldn't want to go down hill at this stage of the tournament.
Both the teams have lost four matches of their last five games which means RR are already staring at a slippery slope after a good start this season which comes up on the back of a runners-up finish last season. While SRH need to win every game from here, for RR three wins should suffice for a place in the final four which makes this a crucial game for both the sides.
It would be interesting to see if Harry Brook will continue to be trusted by SRH after a string of low scores following his hundred against KKR that came some three weeks ago. In addition, Kartik Tyagi's two overs cost 30 runs in his first appearance of the season which means Umran Malik could be considered a for a place in the XI in this match.
RR trusted Riyan Parag as an Impact Sub during their last match and it is more or less likely to be a domestic cricketer but who will be trusted has been a surprise.
Probable Playing XI:
RR: Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson (captain and wicketkeeper), Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Adam Zampa, R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma
SRH: Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram (captain), Harry Brook, Heinrich Klaasen (wicketkeeper), Abdul Samad, Marco Jansen/Akeal Hossein, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, Kartik Tyagi
