MI Retentions List: Mumbai Indians (MI), led by Hardik Pandya, were the worst-performing team in the Indian Premier League season 2024 as they became the first team to get eliminated in the tournament. IPL Governing Council (GC) announced the new retention rules for the mega auction, expected to take place later this year. The new IPL regulations will allow each IPL team to retain up to six players using the regular retention method and the Right to Match (RTM) card option. Additionally, the 'Uncapped Player' rule has returned, permitting retired Indian players or those who haven't played for India or held a BCCI contract in the past five years to participate as uncapped players.
