MS Dhoni Welcomed With Chai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni was welcomed in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) dressing room at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium with a hot cup of chai. Notably, CSK and RCB are set to square off in a crucial IPL 2024 fixture ahead of which both the teams had a practice session at the stadium.

Dhoni, who has gone on record admitting his love for tea, could be seen enjoying a cup of tea in one of the practice sessions in Bengaluru after the wicketkeeper-batter decided to pay a visit to the RCB dressing room. The video of Dhoni and his chai was shared by RCB on their official social media with the caption: "Welcome To Bengaluru, Mahi."

Will This Be MS Dhoni's Final Year In IPL?

Meanwhile at 42, this could well be Dhoni's final year in IPL also given his struggles with injuries. While he played through last season with a knee injury, this year too he has reportedly sustained an injury and is keeping himself down the order for that reason as he is not in a position to run between the wickets for longer duration.

Moreover, with a mega-auction on the cards ahead of IPL 2025 and a new captain having already taken over the leadership responsibilities from MS Dhoni, it might be in the best interest of the team to build a team for the future. If this indeed happens to be Dhoni's final IPL, CSK would want to defend their title, in a fitting tribute to the legacy of their five-time winning skipper.
