MS Dhoni Bowling: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their last league-stage match of IPL 2024 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on May 18 (Saturday). The match is a crucial one for both the teams in order to proceed to the Playoffs.

The equation is fairly straightforward for CSK- win the match and head into the IPL 2024 Playoffs. On the other hand, RCB not only have to beat CSK but also need to get their net run rate (NRR) past the Men in Yellow in order to proceed to the business end of the competition.

Ahead of the RCB vs CSK IPL 2024 match, Chennai legend MS Dhoni was spotted bowling in the nets. The 42-year-old has been struggling with a leg injury and if CSK faulter in this match, it could well turn out to be Dhoni's final match in IPL if he does not make himself available as a player from next season onwards.

CSK and RCB are the prime contenders in that race to the final while Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) can also reach a maximum of 14 points which is where CSK currently stand and RCB can potentially reach if they beat the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side but their inferior NRR of -0.787 means that have left themselves too much to do before the start of their next match.
