CSK vs KXIP, IPL 2020: Kings XI Punjab Win Toss, Opt To Bat First Against Chennai Super Kings At Dubai. MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings team, which had a hat-trick of defeats in IPL 2020, will take on Kings XI Punjab at Dubai International Stadium today. Chennai Super Kings had flopped in all three departments of the game, and tonight will be looking for a win in this match which can help them return to the rhythm. Barring Chennai's Faf du Plessis, no other batsman has been able to make valuable contributions with the bat.

While playing in lower order, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja have scored some runs from the bat but both senior players have not been able to help the team attain a win.

After facing criticism for batting too down the batting order in the last few matches, Dhoni came up to bat in the last match and remained unbeaten on 47 runs. If Dhoni does the same in the upcoming matches, it will be a good sign for Chennai.

In the CSK squad, neither the openers of the team are able to give a good start nor the middle order batsmen are able to create an impact. Ambati Rayudu, who made a comeback after two matches, also got out cheaply in the last game. Although, Rayudu had scored a half-century off his bat in the first match of the season.

The performance of Chennai bowlers has also been average so far. However Deepak Chahar seems to be slowly returning to his rhythm. Sam Curran, Dwayne Bravo, Piyush Chawla, Jadeja need to improve a bit more.

Talking about Punjab, the team's over-reliance on skipper KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal is a bit alarming. The team's middle order also needs to up their game.

Punjab bowlers Mohammed Shami, Shelton Cottrell, Neesham are in good form. At the same time, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has also impressed with his spin. Bishnoi could prove to be a trump card for Punjab against Chennai.
