KKR WIN. What a win. Shreyas Iyer has finished things off in style. He gets there with 6, 6, 4, 6 off successive deliveries from Head to complete his fifty and aid KKR to a dominant win. They are through to the IPL 2024 final . They beat SRH by 8 wickets,.
KKR go past 100. 8 wickets in hand, plenty of balls remaining too and two set batters in the middle. Surely thier game to lose from here.
Cummins removes Narine but KKR are well on their way to chase down this total. KKR- 67/2 after 6.2 Overs.
Venkatesh Iyer in at 3 for KKR.
Gurbaz falls to Natarajan for 23 off 13. He has smashed one straight to covers and that's the end of a brisk opening stand. KKR- 44/1 after 3.2 Overs.
They have taken massive strides for a place in the IPL 2024 Final already. 26/0 after 2 overs are KKR. Cummins going for 20 from his 1st over, including 4 leg byes. Rahmanullah Gurbaz- 12* off 9, Sunil Narine- 9* off 3.
It's Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine who set out to open for KKR. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the new ball in hand for SRH.
SRH ARE ALL OUT FOR 159. Cummins the last man dismissed as he goes for the big shot but gets out caught for 30 off 24. Andre Russell gets the wicket. KKR won't be too worried with this target though. They need 160 for a place in the IPL 2024 final.
Cummins ends the 19th with a well-controlled boundary. SRH: 156/9 after 19 overs.
Not where he intended but it's gone over the keeper's head and for a six. Starc's pace costing him on that occasion. Cummins making invaluabled contribution with the bat.
Starc Returns. He is on a hat-trick.
The SRH captain is up for a fight. Varun comes to bowl his final over but Cummins has smashed a reverse sweep for a six that has landed in the KKR dugout. Can they find a way to get to 150 from here?
Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Pat Cummins out in the middle for SRH. Last pair. How many runs can they add?
Ninth Wicket Goes Down For SRH. Chakarvarthy Gets Bhuvi out LBW who falls for a 4-ball duck. SRH- 126/9 after 16 overs.
Eighth wicket down then as Harshit Rana returns to get the better of Abdul Samad (16 off 12). SRH- 125/8 after 14.4 Overs. Tried to clear long off but not enough power behind that and Shreyas Iyer takes an easy catch.
Two Wickets In Two Balls. KKR are not leaving any stone unturned. They have got two wickets in two balls for the second time in this innings. First a run out, courtesy of some brilliant work from Andre Russell to get rid of the well-set Rahul Tripathi before an abolsute beauty of a delivery from Sunil Narine to get rid of the Impact Sub Sanvir Singh first ball. SRH- 121/6 after 13.3 Overs.
Abdul Samad Is The New Batter In for SRH.
A lot happened in that over. Chakravarthy starts off with an overstepped-no ball first up, Tripathi brought up a 29-ball fifty before Klaasen goes for the big shot but gets out in the beaten. SRH- 101/5 after 11 overs.
50 Of The Partnership. What a counter-attack this is for SRH. Brought to you by Tripathi and Klaasen. The game's not over. A big match and a Starc special started things off for SRH in this innings, will it be a Klaasen special to finish the innings for Hyderabad?
Tripathi approaching his fifty too. A six and a four against Narine from Klaasen meant SRH get 18 runs off that over. 12 runs coming off the 10th over. SRH- 92/4 after 10 overs. Halfway through.
Time For Spin. Sunil Narine into the attack.
Harshit Rana into the attack for KKR.
The big player is delivering at the big stage and how. He has struck twice in two balls. KKR hand him a third over on the trot and he has removed Nitish Kumar Reddy for 9 off 10. Bangs it in short, rushes him into the pull, induces the edge which is taken by the keeper. The very next ball, it's full and staright and it's bye-bye Shahbaz Ahmed out first ball. SRH- 39/4 after 5 overs
Another eventful over. Arora's second goes for 12, including a no-ball and a wide. SRH-33/2 after 4 overs.
Another good over from Starc. A boundary conceded but that was a bit of a courageous stroke from Tripathi. He did survive an LBW call which replays showed could have been overturned had KKR reviwed but that wasn't to be. SRH- 21/2 after 3 overs.
Some start this by KKR. Both the new ball bowlers amongst the wickets now as Vaibhav Arora gets rid of Abhishek Sharma. The left-hander went for an aerial stroke, much like Tripathi had gone in the Starc over, but it's Andre Russell who is stationed there on this occasion and he times his jump to perfection, gets both hands to the ball and takes a good catch. Trouble for SRH early on. They are 13/2 after 1.5 Overs. Abhishek out for 3 off 4.
Vaibhav Arora From The Other End for KKR.
Two Boundaries Off The Over. Both off the bat of Rahul Tripathi and the first one should have definitely been stopped. The second was aerial and went quickly but the fielder couldn't get a hand on to it. Catch gone down? For now, SRH- 8/1 after the 1st over. End of an eventful opening over.
What a start to the contest. Starc has got the better of Travis Head. The left-hander sees his stumps being rattled. There was a bit of movement on the first ball itself but on that occasion, the ball was stopped inside the circle on the off side. On the second ball, there is movement again and enough to beat Head's bat and disturb the stumps. SRH- 0/1 after 0.2 Overs.
IPL Playoffs Gets Underway. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma open for Hyderabad. Mitchell Starc with the new ball in hand for KKR.

Hello and Welcome one and all to our live coverage of the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2024 Qualifier 1. The match will be coming your live from the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Background
KKR vs SRH Live Score, IPL 2024 Qualifier 1: It's all come down to the final four games. Three more games and the world will find the champion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The first of the three games will witness Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in Qualifier 1.
The winner of the Qualifier 1 will proceed directly to the IPL 2024 final set to be staged at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team that loses this contest, meanwhile, will take on the winner of the Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a do-or-die clash.
On face value KKR and SRH are the two beste teams in competition yet there is a contrast in the manner in which they have finished first and and second respectively on the IPL 2024 points table. Kolkata have been calm and consistent in the manner in which they have gone about things, they have a method to their madness.
On the other hand, SRH have just been disruptive about the way they have gone about their business, especially in their batting. They have taken the attack to the opposition but have blown hot and cold in the season, even though their eventually tally of 17 points from 14 matches, might hint otherwise.
Will SRH then manage to ruffle even a focused and determined KKR when they play Qualifier 1 and be a dangerous side heading into the final or will KKR produce what it takes to tame SRH's way of going about their innings and force them to a territory which does not come naturally to them, at least in this season?
We shall find out together over the course of the next few hours.
