KKR vs SRH Highlights, IPL 2024 Qualifier 1: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are through to the IPL 2024 final. The Shreyas Iyer-led side, who had topped the league stage of the tournament, eased past Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2024 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to secure a place in the summit clash.
IPL's most expensive purchase ever Mitchell Starc, who hadn't been in the best of forms in this season, delivered on the big stage and set the tone for the rest of match. The left-arm pacer scalped three wickets inside the powerplay, including two off successive balls to jolt Hyderabad from where they couldn't quite. Starc finished with figures of 3/34.

Starc was brilliantly complemented by the rest of the KKR bowling unit with Varun Charkavarthy being the other stand out bowler, finishing with figures of 2/26 off his 4 overs. Vaibhav Arora, Sunil Narine, Harshit Rana and Sunil Narine each of the other bowlers that were tried all managed to return with a wicket.
For SRH, Rahul Tripathi looked confident and scored 55 off 35 being being run out. Heinrich Klaasen (32 off 21) and Pat Cummins (30 off 24) also chipped in with useful contributions to take the Orange Army to 159.
Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer Score Unbeaten Fifies As KKR Win With 38 Balls Remaining
KKR got off to a blistering start in the run chase with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine taking the attack to the opposition. The team might have finished lost both the openers but Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer scored unbeaten half-centuries to see the team home with 38 balls to spare. Venkatesh scored 51* off 28 while Shreyas remained unbeaten on 58* off 24, finishing the match with SIX, FOUR, SIX, SIX off successive deliveries.

While KKR will await the second finalist for the titular contest at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 26 (Sunday), SRH have another chance as they will play the winner of the Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 2.
