In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, won the toss and opted to first against at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

All eyes will be on the contest between explosive batsmen Andre Russell (KKR) and Rishabh Pant (DC). In this match, the Delhi Capitals team will aim to forget their defeat in their previous match and return to the winning path.

The match is to be held in the small ground of Sharjah and that's why the fans are in tonight for a game in which batters of both the teams will hit many big sixes and blistering boundaries.

Russell had shown his aggressive attitude in the last match against Rajasthan Royals by hitting three sixes on the big ground of Dubai, but Pant has so far failed to show his natural game and is more cautious in stroke-making. Pant will also be under pressure as his competitors like KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson are doing well.

This will be the first occasion in the current season of IPL when two matches will be played in a day, but out of these two matches, the night game in Sharjah will witness a high-scoring game because of the small boundaries.

KKR seems to be slowly returning to the rhythm, while Delhi suffered defeat in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad after two consecutive wins. In the IPL 2020 so far, both teams have played 3–3 matches with 2–2 success. In the point table, Delhi team is in second place while Kolkata is in third place.

The two teams have played against each other in the IPL 23 times. In which, Kolkata has won 13 times and Delhi 10 times, respectively. In such a situation, the competition is expected to be exciting and a pure thriller.

KKR's opener Shubman Gill is in superb form. Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell are slowly gaining momentum. However, trouble for skipper captain Dinesh Karthik has increased slightly due to the frequent failure of opener Sunil Narine. His own poor form can also put the team in trouble.

In bowling, Kolkata has the experience of Pat Cummins, apart from the young pair of Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagerkoti, who are proving to be very effective. The trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Naraine and Varun Chakraborty are also doing well in the spin.
