IPL 2024 updated points table, Orange Cap and Purple Cap holders: Rajasthan Royals (RR) got the better of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 faceoff at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 6 (Saturday).

By the virtue of their six-wicket win over RCB, Rajasthan Royals moved to the number one spot in IPL 2024 Points Table. For Rajasthan, Jos Buttler (unbeaten 100 off 58 deliveries) and Sanju Samson (42-balls 69) were the star performers.

Despite Virat Kohli's ton (unbeaten 113 off 72 balls), RCB lost their fourth game in IPL 2024, having won just one match. At number two are Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who remain unbeaten with three back-to-back wins, followed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at number three with two loses and two wins from 4 matches. 

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are at number 4 and 5, respectively. Both teams have 4 points each but LSG is placed above SRH in IPL 2024 Points Table due to a better Net Run Rate (NRR).
