IPL 2024 KKR Vs SRH Qualifier 1 Preview: Kolkata Knight Riders are finally back in action after 10 days, as the former two-time IPL winners are set to play Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024 Qualifier 1 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21. 2024 version of KKR are one of the most in-form sides IPL has ever seen, as the Shreyas Iyer-led side finished the group stage with the highest ever Net Run Rate recorded by the table topper in the league's history.

KKR Likely To Progress Into The Final Via Qualifier 1

KKR are statistically the best side in IPL 2024, as the side have registered the most number of wickets inspite of not playing their last 2 matches, as they got washed out due to rain. Also, the former champions have one of the most in-form and deep batting order in the tournament.

Sunil Narine is operating on a whole different level, as the Caribbean has entered in his 'God Mode' this tournament, with him performing with both, bat and ball. The 35-year old has scored 461 runs and taken 15 wickets in 12 innings so far, and will stand as the 'Main Man' for KKR to lead the side into their 4th IPL final.

SRH, on the other hand, have broken maximum batting records this IPL season, as Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have formed one of the most iconic opening partnerships in the history of the league. The duo, alongside the ever-consistent Heinrich Klassen, and Indian talents such as Abdul Samad and Nitish Kumar Reddy have terrorised bowling attacks this season.

However, the bowling unit of SRH stands as their weak point, with them lacking a quality spinner, and also, a good pace attack, as Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan often go expensive, and seeing the never-ending depth of KKR's batting lineup, the Pat Cummins-led side will not be starting as favourites in the Qualifier 1.
