IPL 2023 Points Table: Gujarat Titans (GT) star all-rounder Rashid Khan yet again proved why he is an absolute legend in the shortest format. The 24-year-old star hammered 10 sixes during his unbeaten 79 off just 32 balls, before spinning a web around to claim four wickets against Mumbai Indians on Friday (May 12) at Wankhede Stadium. However, Rashid's all-round heroics went in vain as Suryakumar Yadav's remarkable 49-ball ton powered MI to a memorable win in front of the home crowd.

By the virtue of this win, Mumbai Indians (MI) jumped to third position in IPL 2023 Points Table with 14 points. MI have to play one more match before IPL 2023 Playoffs begins and since they have lost only five matches, they have a really good chance of finishing in top 4 by the end of league stage matches. On Thursday (May 11), Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and this timely win gives them a crucial advantage with the tournament nearing the end of league stage. NRR might be the deciding factor with many teams tied at 10 or 12 points. Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore are stuck on 5 wins each. Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) remain at number one position in IPL 2023 Points Table. Chennai Super Kings remain at second position. Rajasthan Royals moved down to the fourth spot.
