Gautam Gambhir-mentored Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) became the third team to qualify for Indian Premier League (IPL) IPL 2023 playoffs after securing a one run win over two-time IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 fixture on Sunday (May 20). Three IPL teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are still in fray for the final fourth spot in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Points Table. Meanwhile, cricketer-turned-commentator Harbhajan Singh, who is part of the broadcasting team for IPL 2023, admitted he is concerned over a possible clash between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir in future if Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) qualify for IPL 2023 Playoffs.

Two cricket legends, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were involved in an infamous on-field spat after Bangalore defeated Lucknow by 18 runs in their IPL 2023 fixture on May 1.
Gambhir's Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Virat's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will square off once again in IPL 2023 if RCB beat Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday (May 21) to qualify for IPL 2023 Eliminator. RCB's win over GT in their final league stage match would be enough for the Bangalore-based franchise to make it to IPL 2023 Playoffs unless Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by a significant margin to boost their Net Run Rate. "If Kohli and Gambhir again face each other, I hope they do not clash again. I am only concerned about it," India Today quoted Harbhajan as saying on Star Sports.
Harbhajan reserved big praise for LSG captain Krunal Pandya who replaced injured KL Rahul.
"Credit to Krunal Pandya for rotating his bowlers well. It was the highest quality of spin bowling from LSG against KKR. Hats off to the spinners for bowling with courage in the middle overs and under tough situations. Good signs for them ahead of the playoffs as Chepauk traditionally favours spinners," Harbhajan asserted.
