RCB vs GT Rain update: Match number 70 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, final league stage match of this year's tournament, will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Today's RCB vs GT IPL 2023 clash is a must-win game for Virat Kohli-starrer team as if they lose against GT (by more than six runs), then Mumbai Indians (MI) or Rajasthan Royals (RR) will have a chance to qualify for IPL 2023 Playoffs. If RCB beat GT, they can become 4th and final team to qualify for IPL 2023 Playoffs, depending on the Net Run Rate (NRR) unless Mumbai lose to Hyderabad in their IPL 2023 fixture on the same day.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are among few teams who are yet to win an Indian Premier League (IPL) final. Virat Kohli's dream of lifting the coveted trophy in 2023 faces 'rain threat'. As per Accuweather, on Sunday, there's a 65 percent chance of rain in Bengaluru at 7 p.m., and it will drop to 49% around 8 p.m. Around 9 p.m, rain probability at Chinnaswamy again rises to 65% but drops to 40% and 34% around 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., respectively.
Here's how Royal Challengers Bangalore Can Qualify for IPL 2023 Playoffs
If Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Gujarat Titans IPL 2023 match gets canceled due to rain then both the teams will get 1 point each. If this happens, Bangalore will have 15 points in their kitty, but if Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last league match earlier in the day, then they will enter IPL 2023 Playoffs with 16 points. However, if Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians, then Royal Challengers Bangalore will secure 4th place in IPL 2023 Playoffs with 15 points, despite cancellation of their match vs GT due to rain.
RCB is currently at number four in IPL 2023 points table with 14 points. Bangalore's net run rate is much better than Mumbai. So far, Gujarat, Chennai and Lucknow have qualified for IPL 2023 Playoffs.
