Mumbai Indians new jersey: Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) on Friday unveiled their official jersey for 2023 season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). As per a report in ANI, the franchise has given fans the option to personalise their brand-new outfits with their names and a number of their choice. Famous designer duo of Shantanu and Nikhil have conceptualised Mumbai's new jersey for IPL 2023.

“Ufff…. Ye muskan ki chamak dekh rahe ho,” five-time Indian Premier League winners Mumbai Indians wrote in the caption of a post and also posted a link for the fans to buy the new kit.










Speaking on the unveiling, Mumbai Indians Spokesperson, was quoted as saying by ANI, “Our team jersey is a reflection of the ethos of Mumbai Indians. Over the years, Mumbai Indians have been home to many aspirations which have emerged as inspiring stories. This is synonymous to the spirit of Mumbai which opens its arms with opportunities to every individual who dreams and believes in his future. We look forward to stepping onto the field with the support and passion of our fans as we don this jersey.”


Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will kick off in Ahmedabad with a high-octane match between defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 31. The final of the T20 tournament will be played on May 30. This year, the IPL is set to be played in its original home and away format.


Mumbai Indians will kick off their IPL 2023 campaign from April 2 onwards with a match against Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The franchise will look to improve their performance from last year. In IPL 2022, Rohit Sharma-led team finished last in Points Table with only four wins in 14 matches and a total of eight points.
