Meanwhile, it looks like it isn't just the notorious weather that irked fans in Ahmedabad as several videos and pictures have gone viral on social media, showcasing visuals of a 'roof leak' at world's largest cricket stadium. A video shared by a Twitter user of the micro-blogging platform shows a fan dodging water pouring through gaps in the roof of the stadium.

"People who are asking for closed roof stadiums have a look at the pillars and roofs of the biggest stadium and the richest cricket board leaking," the Twitter user captioned the post.
"Poor experience. In stadium and outing stadium too!! Allotted parking were under mud n became swimming pool. Underdeveloped area beside stadium," one Twitter user shared his experience. "What an amazing experience I had today and this stadium wants to host the Wc final," another user added.
