Match number seven of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Tuesday (April 4) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. It will be interesting to see which side dominates the match. Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated four-time champions Chennai Super Kings by five wickets to start their defence title on a positive note. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, playing their first match on home ground in IPL 2023, will aim to get their first win in the tournament after suffering a humiliating 50-run defeat at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

In their loss, Delhi for sure felt the absence of Rishabh Pant, who is still on the road to recovery after suffering a horrific car crash in December last year. Just a few hours ahead of their first home game on Tuesday, Delhi Capitals  wished star batter Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery in an emotional video. Notably, Pant is expected to make his first appearance in a cricket stadium tonight, ever since his car accident.

"I hope you are recovering well. Dekh raha hu tere videos ab dhire dhire chal raha hae (Can see you videos are going well now). Baby steps are coming now. Really happy to see how you are recovering," said Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw in the video.

"We will be playing back in Delhi after 3-4 years. We will be missing you. I can see how well you ae recovering. You are doing recovery pool for half an hour, so that’s a bog thing," added vice-captain Axar Patel.

Delhi’s West Indian recruit Rovman Powell said," I hope you recover well. I know you are supporting us and we will try to win it for you brother," said Powell.
