IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore have undergone major changes for the second part of The Indian Premier League Season 14. Hasaranga, who laid the foundation for Sri Lanka's victory in the T20 series against India, has joined RCB. Hasranga will replace Adam Zampa in RCB's squad.
Australia's star player Adam Zampa is not joining RCB for the second part of IPL 14. Adam Zampa had also left the first part of IPL 14 midway and returned to Australia. RCB had been eyeing Hasaranga for the past month.
Hasaranga was in the news when he bowled brilliantly in last month's ODI and T20 series against India. It was Hasranga who helped Sri Lanka beat India in the T20 series. Hasaranga had also hinted at joining Virat Kohli's team after the series against India.

RCB almost certain to go into playoffs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore's coaching staff will also see a change in the second half of IPL 14. Simon Katich has resigned as RCB coach. Katich wants to stay in Australia for the time being due to strict covid-19 protocol. Now Mike Hesson has the responsibility of coaching the team. Hesson is RCB's director of cricket.
RCB has announced that two more players will join the team. Sri Lanka's pacer Dushmanta Chameera and Singaporean Tim David have joined RCB. Both these players have replaced Kane Richardson and Daniel Sams.
Let us tell you that RCB's team is looking in good form this year. In the first half of IPL season 14, RCB was second in the points table and it is almost certain to go to the playoffs.
