[Watch] Various Shades Of Virat Kohli: Captain Applauded AB And Maxwell For Their Creative Batting | Virat Kohli Reaction

Virat Kohli got out early against Kolkata Knight Riders, but he made sure he was there to encourage and applaud his two comrades.

IPL 2021, RCB vs KKR: Glenn Maxwell and AB De Villiers scored two magnificent half-centuries for RCB which took the team’s score to 204. It happened after Virat Kohli got out in the second over batting to Varun Chakravarthy. But Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers scored 78 and 76, respectively, and took RCB to a more than a decent score on a Chepauk wicket that does not necessarily favor the batting team.

Virat Kohli, even after getting out kept on supporting his fellow batsmen from the dug-out. RCB is heavily dependent on AB and Maxwell to score in the middle overs. Both of them combined hit six 6s and 18 4s. The problem of middle-order batting was taken care of by the two overseas superstars.

Here are some of the animated reactions from Captain Kohli:

RCB was relentless in signing Glenn Maxwell and Kylie Jamieson as they spent 14.25 crore and 15 crores respectively on the two overseas players. There were some eyebrows raised when RCB spent so much on these two players, but they were quick to redeem themselves as they bought five players for a total sum of one crore rupees. But these players are not making it appear that the money spent went to waste.

Glenn Maxwell also grabbed the orange cap, which is given to the player scoring the most number of runs in the IPL. Nonetheless, such appreciation from the captain would definitely lift up the spirits of the RCB players.
