David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) emerged victorious in a Do or Die match for them in the IPL Season 13 at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as they trounced Delhi Capitals by 88 runs in Match 47 of the season played at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

After posting a mammoth 220-run total on the back of whirlwind half tons by opener David Warner and Saha, SRH bowlers came to the party by bowling out Iyer and Co. for just 131 runs..

Sunrisers Hyderabad's fifth win off the season in their twelve league assignments helped them to stay afloat in the tournament and climb to the sixth spot in the IPL 2020 points table. With two more round robin fixtures left against formidable oppositions in RCB and MI, SRH need to win both to stay in contention for a top four finish.

The 88-run victory also helped Sunrisers Hyderabad improve their net run rate quite significantly. With no team still guaranteed a qualification berth after 47 league encounters, the final spots for the knockouts could come down to net run rate if teams end up drawing level at 14 points.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are now pressing close on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings Eleven Punjab (KXIP) who are placed above the 'Orange Army' with 12 points a piece.

Delhi Capitals (DC) who still have strong chance of qualifying for the play-offs suffered their fifth defeat in the season to slip to third place behind MI and RCB. DC cant afford to be one bit complacent as the mid table challengers are closing in on the table toppers at the backend of the tournament.

Kings Eleven Punjab who have turned around a horrid opening half in the season with five straight wins are now in the race of  making it to the knockouts. With 12 points in the bank, Kings will look to continue playing party spoilers and hope to make it to the knockouts by edging KKR and SRH for the final spot

One of the table toppers in Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will make it to the knockouts later in the evening as both teams are on 14 points each. A win to either of the teams in the MI vs RCB clash will take them to the magical figure of 16 points and guarantee them a playoff spot.

Seventh-place Rajasthan Royals are hanging by the thread as nothing else but two wins in their remaining fixtures will give them a glimmer of a hope to qualify for the play-offs. 3-time champions CSK have been knocked out of the play-off race.
