When it comes to Indian Premier League (IPL), there is often talk of fast bowlers like Joffra Archer, Kagiso Rabada, Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. The speed, line-length of these bowlers are always a topic of discussion among the fans, but in this tournament there is also one bowler who neither has some extra speed nor is he popular like these bowlers but this player has dismissed Virat Kohli, one of the best batsmen in the world, most times in the history of IPL. The player is Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Sandeep Sharma, who once again cleaned up captain of RCB in Sharjah on Saturday.

IPL 2020: Sandeep Sharma Departs RCB Captain Virat Kohli For The Seventh Time

Against Bangalore, Hyderabad captain Warner opted to bowl first after winning the toss and once again handed the ball in Powerplay once again to Sandeep Sharma. The ace speedster did not disappoint his team at all. In the third over, Sandeep Sharma bowled a great delivery to get Devadatta Paddikal clean bowled and then in the fifth over he bagged the biggest wicket of the game to rattle Bangalore.

Sandeep Sharma dismissed Virat Kohli on the fourth ball of his third over. Virat tried to play a cover drive off Sandeep's ball but Kane Williamson took a stunning catch. In the 12 innings against Sandeep, Virat Kohli has been dismissed by the paceman for the seventh time in IPL. Sandeep has now become the bowler to get the most dismissals against Virat in the IPL. Earlier, this record was in the name of Ashish Nehra.

Sandeep also became just the second bowler to take 50 wickets in the Powerplay. Sandeep Sharma has taken 51 wickets in the powerplay so far, ahead of him  is only Zaheer Khan, who has taken 52 wickets in the first 6 overs. Sandeep Sharma has so far bagged 105 IPL wickets in 89 matches but despite this his name is not much discussed among top bowlers.
