Rabada's performance has been consistently good and he also bowled fluently in the 34th match of the tournament against CSK. Tonight with his bowling, he created history in IPL.
Kagiso Rabada became the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in the history of IPL. The South African fast bowler has been successful in taking 50 wickets in his 27th IPL match.

In the 34th match of IPL 2020, Rabada took 50 wickets in IPL career as soon as he dismissed Du Plessis. Earlier this record was in the name of Sunil Narine. Narine took 50 wickets in his IPL career in his 32nd match. Apart from this, Lasith Malinga, who has the highest wickets in the IPL, took 50 IPL wickets in the 33rd match of his IPL career.
Apart from this, Kagiso Rabada has become the second bowler to take 50 wickets while playing for Delhi Capitals. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has also been successful in taking 50 wickets for the Delhi Capitals team. Mishra has taken 100 wickets so far while playing from Delhi in IPL.

Apart from this, Rabada has also attained the record of taking 50 wickets by bowling the fewest deliveries in the IPL. Rabada has bowled a total of 616 balls so far in his IPL career and has done wonders by taking 50 wickets. Lasith Malinga completed his 50 IPL wickets by bowling 749 balls.
Rabada is the highest wicket taker in IPL 2020. He so far has taken 19 wickets and is the purple cap holder.
