Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli reached Dubai on Friday to join the RCB squad comprising of Indian players for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The thirteenth edition of the IPL 2020 will begin from September 19 onwards in the UAE.

"Hello Dubai," wrote Kohli as he shared a picture of himself upon reaching Dubai.

Earlier on Friday, the RCB squad had boarded the flight to the United Arab Emirates. RCB posted in-flight pics of their players and wrote, "UAE calling! The Royal Challengers are all set to take-off! Drop a Red heart if you’re happy to see the RCB fam together again! #PlayBold #TravelDays #IPL2020."

RCB skipper Kohli had not landed up in the franchise's base at Bengaluru while other prominent stars like Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini had reached Karnatak's capital city last week, where they remained in quarantine for a few days before flying off to the UAE in the afternoon.

RCB is now one of the six IPL teams to have landed up in the UAE ahead of the season. Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad players are likely to reach UAE on Saturday. As per the rules, the franchises were allowed to leave the base from August 20.

While Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab became the first three teams to ferry their players to UAE on Thursday, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and RCB got their Indian squads to board the flight to UAE on Friday and reach the middle east nation yesterday in the evening.
