The 38th match of IPL 2020 is to be played between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. While the Delhi team would like to ensure their chances of reaching the playoffs by winning this match, Kings XI Punjab will be eyeing to take revenge of their defeat from Delhi, the result of which was decided by a super over. The second match of IPL 2020 was played between these two teams which resulted in Delhi Capitals winning the match in super over.
Delhi Capitals team has reached here by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets in their last match. Even after injured Rishabh Pant's unavailability in the team, there has been no difference in the team's batting. Veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan has taken up the responsibility of scoring runs during this period. Dhawan scored the first century of his IPL career against Chennai and this will boost his confidence.

Talking about the Delhi Capitals bowling, they look a very balanced side with bowlers like Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Tushar Deshpande and spinners R Ashwin and Akshar Patel.
Although Delhi does not need any change in bowling, but before reaching the playoffs, they will definitely want to check their bench strength. Delhi also has players like Mohit Sharma, Avesh Khan Sandeep Lamichane, Kemo Paul, Daniel Symes and Lalit Yadav which they have not used yet this season.
Talking about the Kings XI Punjab team, it has reached here by beating Mumbai Indians in their last match. After defeating RCB and now Mumbai, Punjab has returned to the winning track. In such a situation, the confidence of all the players will be high. Tonight, Kings XI Punjab will want to beat Delhi Capitals and attain a hat-trick of victory.
