Indian cricket team' senior opener Shikhar Dhawan, who is popularly known as the "Gabbar", returned to Delhi Capitals in 2019 after a trade-off with Sunrisers Hyderabad. The fiery opener's ability to start the innings in an aggressive fashion, even against some of the best wicket-taking bowlers in the world, makes him an important cog in DC's wheel. Meanwhile, the DC star opener on Monday took to social media to post a video in which he can be seen teaching a few "Punjabi steps" to his teammates -- Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane, who clearly struggled to replicate Punjabi dance moves with same ease. "Teaching my two teammates a few Punjabi steps but it's going to take a while to get them into rhythm. Lovely to see them dancing since they are usually shy. Always have fun and keep the kid inside of you alive," Dhawan's Instagram post read.


All IPL franchises have reached United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in IPL 2020. BCCI have decided to use Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah as the three venues for IPL in order to minimize the traveling of players. The tournament opener of the 53-day tournament will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on September 19.

Shikhar Dhawan joined a zoom video conference from UAE and answered the questions from the journalists . The opening batsman from Delhi Capitals said, he was never scared of the corona situation and unlike few other cricketers never had any apprehensions before travelling to Dubai for the IPL.


On playing in Dubai , the dependable opener from Delhi Capitals said , " I am excited to play in Dubai but I have played here before in Asia Cup and once for the India A side ".
