Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Deepak Chahar who joined back the team's bio secure bubble after testing negative twice in his post recovery Covid-19 tests wasted no time in getting back to training with his team mates ahead of the thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).


Chahar who was placed in self quarantine after contracting the Covid-19 infection seems to have recovered fully from the novel virus and hit the gym to share a pic of his chiselled abs on Twitter.

The CSK pacer aptly captioned the post."Life is all about fighting and hunger to improve,"


Chahar along with batsman Ruturaj Gaekwaad were the two CSK players among 13 member contingent to have tested positive for the coronavirus in UAE.

The seamer  had to undergo two negative COVID-19 tests before entering the CSK's bio-bubble and get back to training with his CSK teammates.

His sister Malti Chahar had also posted a message for him on social media after his recovery in UAE. "The lion is ready to roar," she wrote on Twitter with a picture of Deepak at CSK's training.



Chahar, who is an integral part of the CSK pace attack and has been in rich wicket taking form for his franchisee franchise over the last two seasons. Chahar delivered consistency with the ball picking up 22 wickets in 17 matches to help CSK make it to the title clash against Mumbai Indians in the last edition of the IPL.
