While fans around the world are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation of the IPL Auction 2025 Date and venue, a report carried by news agency ANI has claimed that the bidding war will happen in Riyadh this year. The said report also reveals the date of the auction which is set to be held later this month.


The mega auction, as claimed in the report which cites sources, will be held on November 24 & 25. The agency report comes after the ten franchises recently announced their list of retained players. Some of the big names in T20 cricket around the world and the IPL including the likes of Jos Buttler, Aiden Markram, Glenn Maxwell, Faf du Plessis, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and many others will be included in the auction pool.

With the likes of IPL-winning captain Shreyas Iyer released from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rishabh Pant being released from Delhi Capitals (DC) and KL Rahul from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), there would be three proven leaders who will be available to pick for franchises especially those who are looking to find themselves a leader.
