FIFA World Cup 2022: Two-time World Cup winning skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has retired from international cricket and only plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Even two years after retiring, Dhoni's popularity hasn't fallen a bit. Infact, the ex-Indian cricketer's popularity and die-hard fan base has increased more than ever and knows no bounds. A recent example of it was seen during the 2022 FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

A fan was spotted sporting MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) jersey during Brazil vs. Serbia FIFA World Cup 2022 match. The picture of the same has gone viral on the internet. The fan can be seen holding the jersey while posing with a Brazil football team fan. In another pic, the fan can be seen wearing the jersey.

"Everywhere we go, there’s always Yellove!" franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) wrote in the caption of their post on Twitter while reacting to the viral pic.

MS Dhoni will return to action in IPL 2023 as CSK captain, probably for the last time in his career. Earlier this year, Dhoni, most successful captain in Indian Premier league (IPL) history, had announced he wants to say his ‘final goodbye to cricket and IPL’ in front of Chennai fans and thank them for their unconditional love and support over the years.  The veteran will make the most of the opportunity to add another title win in his kitty.

MS Dhoni is likely to call time on his IPL career after IPL 2023. After India's dismal show in T20 World Cup 2022, BCCI might reportedly ask Dhoni to get involved in the T20 format for upliftment of the national team.
