New Delhi: An all-round performance from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) powered them to a thrilling 3-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai's D.Y. Patil stadium on Wednesday. Wanindu Hasaranga was the star for Bangalore as he picked 4 wickets for 20 runs.
Chasing just 129 for the win, RCB had a really poor start as they kept losing wickets consistently. After Kolkata bowlers rocked KKR's top-order with its sensational bowling, Shane Rutherford and David Willey steadied their team's sinking ship. Narine came up with a big breakthrough by dismissing Willey in 11th over but Ahmed played a calculated innings and stitched an important stand with Shane to keep his team alive in the chase.
Things got pretty tight in the death overs but Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel somehow managed to push their team over the line for a much-needed win.
