After completing his three-day isolation period, Rabada joined the Punjab camp where he was welcomed with a 'customary burrah' by his teammates. Punjab Kings have also posted the video of the same on its official Twitter handle.
Kagiso Rabada, who played for Delhi Capitals last year, was not retained by the franchise ahead of IPL mega auction. After that, he entered the auction. Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings showed interest in buying Rabada and after an intense bidding war, he was finally acquired by Punjab for Rs. 9.25 crore.
Talking about Rabada's IPL career, he has done exceptionally well in the last few seasons for Delhi Capitals. He has taken 76 wickets in 50 IPL matches at an economy rate of 8.21 runs per over.
Rabada will surely be included in Punjab's playing XI in their next match against Chennai Super Kings on April 2. In their first match, Punjab defeated RCB by 5 wickets to start their IPL 2022 campaign with a win.
