New Delhi: The preparations for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Mega Auction are in full swing. BCCI on Tuesday released the final list of players who will go under the hammer on Feb 12, 13 in Bengaluru. 590 players will take part in the auction. Of these, 220 are foreign players. One of them will be veteran all-rounder Dwayne Bravo of West Indies.
Bravo had registered himself for the IPL 15 mega auction and his name is also in the final list. Bravo will attain a big record if he gets a buyer. He has been associated with the IPL since its inception and if he gets to play in IPL 2022 as well, then the West Indies all-rounder will become the first overseas player to play in all IPL seasons, from 2008 to 2022.

Chris Gayle and Shaun Marsh are also among the players who have been included in this list of players who have taken part in all IPL auctions, from 2008 to 2021, but both veterans are not participating in this year's auction, so Bravo will now become the only cricketer who has participated in all IPL auctions so far. Bravo, the capped all-rounder, has kept his base price of Rs 2 crore.
Bravo was part of the Chennai Super Kings squad that defeated Kolkata Knight Riders to win the IPL title last year. He played an important role in his team's win. Prior to this, he was also a part of CSK's winning IPL team in 2018. Chennai didn't retain him ahead of this year's auction but there are chances that the four-time IPL winner will try his best to get Bravo back.
In the first three seasons of IPL, Dwayne Bravo played for Mumbai Indians. In 2011, he joined the Chennai team that won the title that year. Before 2016, when Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were banned, Bravo played for Gujarat Lions. Bravo so far has played a total of 151 matches in his IPL career for three different franchises and scored a whopping 1537 runs, also taking 167 wickets.
