New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Virat Kohli's lean patch in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 continues. The former Bangalore skipper was dismissed for a golden duck during RCB vs LSG match at DY Patil stadium in Mumbai.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss and invited Bangalore to bat first. RCB was off to a poor start as Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chammera bagged two early wickets in the first over to put Lucknow on top.

The third batter to take the field was Virat Kohli. Fans had great expectations from the senior batter as a heroic knock was expected from the ex-India skipper to pull his team back into the match. However, the crowd in stadium went into pin-drop silence when Virat was dismissed by Chammera for a golden duck.

Virat Kohli's confused and puzzled reaction after getting stunned went viral on social media. He registered his first IPL duck in five years.

Virat Kohli is under the scanner for not scoring runs in international cricket. He, so far, has scored 23650 runs in 458 international games across formats, with 70 centuries and 122 half-centuries.
